My Inspiration!!!!!!

The Sky!!!!

Inspiration sprouts anywhere and at anytime for different people. However, for me I find most of my inspiration from the sky. I think it is really easy to tell that I have a fondness for the sky (my background of the blog). The sky in general is so vast and infinite. The sky inspires me because it is so simple yet there are infinite possibilities that are yet to be discovered. The sky inspires me to continue to discover new ideas. Actually, last year was the first time I ever saw a night sky that was full of stars. Even now, I can still see it inside my head. It may be something other people tend to see every night but for a city girl like me, I was moved by the simplistic elegance of it. Whenever I look at the sky, whether it is the clear blue sky with puffy white clouds, cloudy gray sky, or the black sky with glistening stars: it gives me hope of endless possibilities.

  1. Living in New York City, it is a rarity to see stars at night. I, too, am always taken aback back blue skies and white clouds. You're not a pessimist Kelly!

  2. I used to live in a small village in China and I could see stars every night... I miss the stars at night

  3. I think both of our inspirations are related because its both basically nature. I think its nice to be able to have the simplest things be inspirations.

  4. I can't see the picture(I think the url is broken) but it's nice to find someone who gets inspiration from the environment. Not many people take the time to "look" at the sky anymore. :D

  5. Question. Since the sky is such a huge inspiration, what went through your mind during hurricane Sandy?

    1. To be honest, I wasn't able to even see the sky since everything was pitch black and I couldn't really go out to the street to see the sky clearer since I had no electricity and going down the stairs was a struggle.

  6. I never would have thought to find inspiration in the sky, Kelly, that is a really good way to think about it. I mean we see it everyday, but people probably don't think to even find inspiration from it. That's really cool!

  8. I like how you find the sky to be interesting. It's got infinite possibilities as you said, and it makes you feel as though you can accomplish anything.

    1. No I didn't get to incorporate the sky in my name design since I was really trying to focus on a specific quality of me.

  10. I must say that this the most creative of the inspirations I have seen. Also, it reminds me that those who don't leave the city very often usually miss the stunning beauty of a starry night. It also reminds me of when I went rafting down the grand canyon, as we didn't use tents at night because of how dry it is I got to look at a gorgeous sky at night. It was so clear that I could see satellites as they passed by.
